As reported by Shoryuken, the lineup for Evolution 2019 was released yesterday and answered the question as to which games will be featured on the main stage. 

Returning games include Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition, BlazeBlue Cross Tag Battle, DBFZ, and Tekken 7. New games added to the list includes Mortal Kombat 11, Samurai Shodown, UNIST, Soul Caliber VI, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

With the inclusion of Ultimate, Melee and Smash Bros. 4 will no longer be a part of the event’s main lineup. Looks like everyone but the Smash Melee community is happy about the decision. 

Games still missing from the main stage including Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite and Skull Girls may be featured as side tourneys at the event. Keep an eye out for information regarding additional tournaments at the event. 

EVO 2019 will take place August 2-4 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, NV. Registration is now open on the event’s website and through Smash.gg.
