Capcom Cup Mixes Up Players… IRL Lag?

Might have been a mall detail but if you noticed the display screens during Top 32, you may have noticed that the players didn’t match the names underneath their pictures.

However, this was not the only bad thing about the event. There are some attendees and fans that were upset about the Last Chance Qualifiers and losers bracket from Top 32 was not streamed.

The most noticeable botch came when Angrybird got up during his set and was shrugging his shoulders and talking to the T.O. and Infexious.  Apparently, the monitor he was playing own had lag which made it hard for him to play. He wasn’t the only one to mention the lag the setup had.

Some blamed it on possibly the size of the venue as to why the production wasn’t the best but it’s an issue that Capcom should look to fix before next year’s event.

New Characters Coming Your Way!!!

This weekend week there have been two reveals from both Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat 11.

A sneak peek of the Joker was revealed this weekend which shows an opening dialogue between him and Cassie Cage in her Harley Quinn costume. Many expected him to be identical to his INJUSTICE style but from the looks of it his cane maybe his main weapon.

The other reveal comes from Street Fighter with the return of SETH but in both male/female forms. The character brings a bit of SF4 to this edition with the ability to steal moves from other characters. Check out the trailer below.
