MULTIVERSUS—MultiVersus fans will be able to play as Jason Voorhees of “Friday the 13th” and Agent Smith of “The Matrix,” as revealed in a launch trailer by Warner Bros. on Monday.

Both fighters will join the free-to-play platform game alongside the recently announced DC Comics villain, The Joker, as part of Season 1’s “Puns and Villainy.” 

The trailer, “Stars Collide, Pies Fly,” featured a mashup of MultiVersus heroes and villains, including Wonder Woman, Velma (Scooby-Doo), Bugs Bunny, Rick Sanchez (Rick and Morty), and others.

Jason Voorhees will be available at launch, while Agent Smith will be released later in the season.
 
MultiVersus will be released on May 28 as a free download for PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S and One, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, with full cross-play and cross-progression support.
