The final Super Smash Bros Ultimate direct from Nintendo answered some of the questions about the upcoming game. The announcement didn’t hesitate to cut straight to the chase and give its audience the last characters available in-game.

Ken Masters from Street Fighter II will join the game as an echo fighter to Ryu along with Incineroar from Pokemon Sun and Moon.

As an added bonus, Piranha Plant from the Super Mario Series will be available as an added fighter to those who pre-order or buy the game between now and the end of January.

The direct itself explained more of the upcoming online mode and the new spirits tab which plays into the story mode. However, there were two announcements mentioned in the direct that fans were thankful for.

The first being an ethernet adapter for the switch. If you recall playing on the Wii U, the connection was not the best. This adapter ensures that players have the best connection when playing online.

The last was the upcoming DLC pack. Creator Masahiro Sakurai said with the inclusion of all the previous characters means there will be new characters made from scratch. He said they haven’t talked about who will be included but it will be a year before all the DLC is revealed.

The Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighter Pass will include all five DLC characters along with their stages and music for $24.99 or $6.99 individually. Sakurai says that he hopes that fans will buy the pass and have faith that they will enjoy the soon to be DLC.

Smash Bros. Ultimate will be available on December 7th.
