Body Count Fighting 8 Puts East Versus West…But Who’s Next?

The long-awaited battle of who is the best region in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition happened this past Saturday during the BCF8 exhibition match.

The event featured West Versus East with the Wednesday Night Fights team taking on the Next Level Battle Circuit. Throughout the evening, the only victory NLBC was able to gain belonged to Shine as he defeated Chris T in a close set.

In the championship match, SMUG beat challenger Commander Jessie 5-1 to retain his title.

BCF received praised via Twitter for their production quality and hyping the event. However, more players are wondering when are they inviting other regions to give them a chance to prove they’re the best.

This event is a door opener for different regions to gather their best players to prove their skill. No word yet if BCF will consider the opportunity for more regions to come forward but might be something they should consider in the 2019 season. • END|Shine (Ibuki) beat CYG|Chris Tatarian (Ken) 3-2.

• Dankadillas (Dhalsim) beat TS|Arturo Sanchez (Dhalsim) 3-1.

• Pnoy (M. Bison) beat UYU|Lil’ Evil (Ed) 3-0.

• XSK Samurai (Akuma) beat Idom (Laura) 3-1.

• SB|JB (Rashid) beat UYU|Kami (Akuma) 3-0.

• YaNoob (Menat) beat ThisIsBattle (Vega) 3-0.
