Street Fighter — A new champion has emerged as the 2023 Capcom Cup Champion and becoming the first FGC millionaire.
UMA of Taiwan with his main, Juri, overcame 47 of the best Street Fighter 6 players, including Chris Wong who managed to reset the bracket in Grand Finals, to be crowned the Capcom Cup X champion.
Capcom Cup X marked the first time that Street Fighter 6 was used in a Capcom Cup competition with a massive celebration for the community with $2 million in prizes with a $1 million grand prize for the champion.
To continue the momentum, Capcom announced next year’s Capcom Cup XI will also feature a $1 million grand prize.
The 2024 season of Capcom Pro Tour (CPT) will begin in June and will once again be comprised of offline, online, and regional World Warrior tournaments.
